چکیده
We prove homogenization for reaction-advection-diffusion equations with KPP reactions, in the time-periodic spatially stationary ergodic setting, and find an explicit formula homogenized dynamic. also extend this result to models non-local diffusion reactions.

Multidimensional Transition Fronts for Fisher-kpp Reactions
We study entire solutions to homogeneous reactiondiffusion equations in several dimensions with Fisher-KPP reactions. Any entire solution 0 < u < 1 is known to satisfy lim t→−∞ sup ∣x∣≤c∣t∣ u(t, x) = 0 for each c < 2 √ f ′(0) , and we consider here those satisfying lim t→−∞ sup ∣x∣≤c∣t∣ u(t, x) = 0 for some c > 2 √ f ′(0) . When f is C and concave, our main result provides an almost complete ch...
متن کاملPeriodic Homogenization for Hypoelliptic Diffusions
Abstract We study the long time behavior of an Ornstein–Uhlenbeck process under the influence of a periodic drift. We prove that, under the standard diffusive rescaling, the law of the particle position converges weakly to the law of a Brownian motion whose covariance can be expressed in terms of the solution of a Poisson equation. We also derive upper bounds on the convergence rate in several ...

with a smooth function μ(x) that is 1-periodic in all variables xj, j = 1, . . . , n. This equation is known as the Fisher-Kolmogorov-Petrovskii-Piskunov, or Fisher-KPP equation, and was introduced in 1937 by Fisher, and KPP, in their two respective papers, Fisher’s paper focusing on numerical and “applied tools” analysis, and KPP giving a rigorous mathematical treatment. Both papers were pione...
متن کاملOn non-periodic homogenization of time-dependent equations
The recently introduced needle problem approach for the homogenization of non-periodic problems was originally designed for the homogenization of elliptic problems. After a short review of the needle problem approach we demonstrate in this note how the stationary results can be transferred to time-dependent problems. The standard parabolic problem of the corresponding heat equation in a heterog...
متن کاملHomogenization in a Periodic and Time-Dependent Potential
This paper contains a study of the long time behavior of a diffusion process in a periodic potential. The first goal is to determine a suitable rescaling of time and space so that the diffusion process converges to some homogeneous limit. The issue of interest is to characterize the effective evolution equation. The main result is that in some cases large drifts must be removed in order to get ...
